Reading: We are excited to kick off Unit 10: Exploring Sound, Light, and Heat! Weโll be asking and answering questions during and after our readings to deepen our understanding. Weโll also use simple graphics, including pictures and drawings, to help us locate information. Letโs work together to determine the meaning of multiple-meaning words and identify the sequence of events in our texts! ๐๐
Math: In Topic 9, your child will use their understanding of place value to compare 2-digit numbers. This topic, along with Topic 8, will strengthen their number sense and prepare them for 2-digit addition and subtraction.
