This week, we will host our 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Awards Ceremonies on May 13th, 14th, and 15th, respectively!🏆 We hope you can join us as we celebrate the outstanding achievements of our Roy Johnson STEM Academy scholars. 💜📚 Let’s honor their hard work and success together! 👏✨

Please help the scholars remember:

• Attendance Matters - first period starts at 8:45 am. Be on time.
• ID Badges are worn daily. Badges are important for Safety and Security.
• EISD Dress Code Policy. Students should be wearing items approved by our district.

No backpacks beginning May 12 through the end of the school year.

A small bag exceptions will be given for medically necessary and personal items.

The building will open at 7:45 am.

Students should not be left outside the school building prior to 7:45 am. There is no adult supervision prior to 7:45 a.m. Please do not allow students to bring balls, toys, or other objects to play out front of the school.

Keeping students safe is a priority.

Student Reminders

Students, please bring your assigned Chromebook to school every day. Ensure your Chromebook is charged each night so it’s ready for class. Students are not permitted to use, lend, or borrow each other’s devices.

Damages to Technology

If your chromebook or accessories checked out to the student is damaged report issues to our school librarian, Mrs. Marshall as soon as damages are found. Do not wait to report damages to librarian.

Students will keep their Chromebooks over the summer. 💻 Only students not returning to Everman ISD next school year need to turn in their devices.

Every minute counts. Make sure to check your attendance daily. Students who are late/miss classes/miss days will possibly owe seat time. Please ensure your student arrives to school on time each day.

Requires that a student in grades kindergarten through grade 12 be in attendance for at least 90 percent of the days a class is offered in order to receive credit for the class or a final grade.

Every Roy Johnson STEM Academy student should be logging his/her reading minutes.

Please make sure your scholar has logged into Beanstack each day to log his/her reading minutes.

Students should log at least 30 minutes of reading a day! Reading can be done on weekends and breaks too!

To enhance campus safety, clear backpacks will be required for all students for the 2025–2026 school year. Students are expected to be in compliance on the first day of school. To support families, Everman ISD has partnered with a vendor to provide clear backpacks at an affordable cost: Orders placed through June 30 will be picked up by EISD staff and delivered to central admin. Orders placed in July will be picked up by EISD staff and delivered to the campus for distribution. 2025 - 2026 Everman ISD School Calendar

All students have been issued an ID Badge now.

It is a District requirement for all students to wear badges daily for safety & security.

Students are expected to wear ID badges on a lanyard at all times in the building.

Parents will receive a phone call/message when a student forgets his/her ID Badge. This is important to make sure students have ID Badges for safety and security.
