Thank you to everyone who participated in our Attendance Matters spirit week! We are having a WONDERFUL first marking period. We are excited to present an opportunity for our RES community to come together for some fall fun. Please SAVE THE DATE for our PTA sponsored FALL FESTIVAL (November 2nd from 11-3). We are excited to share the flyer (below) and signup link for this upcoming event. A printed flyer will also be sent home with students.

Please take the time to review our school bus safety letter. As a reminder students that do not ride six (6) consecutive days will be removed from the bus schedule. You must submit a new request in order to reinstate your bus stop.

Gifted and Talented News
How can students be referred for gifted screening?
A teacher or a parent may refer a child for gifted screening. If your child exhibits gifted behaviors and is performing above level, you or your child’s teachers may refer your child as a good candidate. The fall testing window opens October 1st and closes November 1st.
Go to Goochland County Schools Gifted Page. Here you will find the Gifted Referral Process and the Initial Referral Form. This form is due to Randolph Elementary by 3pm on November 1st. Please contact egemmill@glnd.k12.va.us with questions.
