February Newsletter
Dear Northridge Families,
I understand that the current climate of immigration discussions can be a source of concern and anxiety for many families. It is important for us to acknowledge these worries and assure you that the safety and well-being of all students are our top priorities. At Northridge Middle School, we are committed to creating an inclusive and supportive environment where every student feels safe and valued. Here are some of the steps we are taking to support and protect our students:
- Inclusive Policies: We have implemented policies that ensure all students, regardless of their immigration status, have access to a safe and equitable education. Our commitment to diversity and inclusion is unwavering.
- Counseling and Support Services: Our dedicated team of counselors is available to provide emotional and psychological support to students who may be experiencing fear or anxiety related to immigration issues. Please encourage your child to reach out if they need someone to talk to.
We believe that open communication between home and school is crucial. If you have specific concerns or need additional support, please do not hesitate to contact our school administration. We are here to listen and assist in any way possible. We want to reassure you that our school is a safe space for all students, and we are dedicated to providing a nurturing environment that supports their growth and learning. Thank you for your trust and partnership as we work together to ensure the well-being of your children.
