Bonjour / Message from your admin. team
Welcome to the month of JUIN !!
As we enter our final month of the school year, we are filled with gratitude and joy. What a year it has been! From the first day of school to where we are now, we’ve seen our students grow in faith, friendship, and knowledge. 🌟
This month is all about celebration—of accomplishments, of community, and of the many ways God has been present in our journey. We are so proud of our grade 2s who will be receiving their sacraments of First Communion and Confirmation on Wednesday. All are welcome to come celebrate with them at 7:00 at St. Joseph Parish.
Field trips, fun days, farewells, and special moments are all ahead, and we are so thankful for the support of our families and staff who make it all possible.
To our students: we are so proud of you.
To our families: thank you for walking alongside us.
To our staff: your dedication shines every day.
Here's to a wonderful June, and may your summer be filled with rest, joy, and God's blessings. 🌞
With heartfelt thanks,
Mme Weber and Mme Poitras

Pilgrims of Hope
Catholic Education Week – Rooted in Hope 🌱
Catholic Education Week was a beautiful reminder that “We are Called to Hope.” Our school community embraced this theme through prayer, creativity, and acts of kindness that filled our hearts and hallways. 💖
We began the week by planting seeds of hope—literally and symbolically! 🌸 Each student created a paper flower as part of our “Hope Grows” project, writing messages of encouragement, faith, and love on every petal. These flowers blossomed across our school walls, reminding us that hope grows when we share it with one another. 🌼
Students then took that hope out into the world by designing “Hope Rocks.” 🎨🪨 Each rock was painted with a word or image of inspiration and placed around our local community to bring joy to those who found them—small, simple signs of God's love in unexpected places.
Midweek, our entire school gathered in prayer for a beautiful Living Rosary. 📿 Students became the beads as we prayed together, lifting our voices in unity and asking Mary to guide us as we live our lives rooted in faith and hope. 🙏
We ended the week with a joyful Family Picnic to celebrate our families that choose Catholic Education🧺 and launched our Kindness Campaign, encouraging students to look for everyday ways to show care and compassion. Whether through kind notes, helpful actions, or a simple smile 😊, our students lived out the message of hope in real and powerful ways.
Thank you to everyone who helped make this week so special. Together, we continue to grow in faith, kindness, and hope. 🌟

As we turn the page toward summer ☀️, it’s time to wrap up our library chapter for the year. Please return all library books by Friday,, June 13th so they can be ready for more adventures next year!
Thank you for being such great readers, book-lovers, and library helpers. Have a summer full of sunshine, stories, and imagination! 📖🕶️🌈
Look out for our Division Summer Literacy Camps popping up throughout the summer. We will post them on the Edsby River once we know dates and locations.

SCC Year-End Message 🌟
As we wrap up another wonderful school year, our School Community Council would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the families, staff, and students who supported our events and initiatives throughout the year.
We ended the year on a joyful note with our Family BBQ 🍔🌭—what a fantastic way to come together, celebrate community, and enjoy the sunshine! It was such a pleasure to see so many smiling faces and families spending time together.
We also wrapped up with one final popcorn fundraiser 🍿, and thanks to your continued support, we’re able to give back to our school in meaningful ways that support learning, fun, and school spirit.
Your participation and encouragement make a real difference. Whether you volunteered your time, donated, or simply showed up—we appreciate you. 💛
We’re already looking forward to another great year ahead. We are always looking for new members to join our SCC. If you are interested or have any questions, please reach out to Mme Weber.
Wishing you all a safe, relaxing, and joy-filled summer!
With gratitude,
Your SCC Team
Roch, Papier, Ciseaux / Rock, Paper, Scissors
We are excited to do our annual Rock, Paper, Scissor competition on Monday, June 23rd. Students can bring $1 to compete in the elimination tournament. Students will first compete against their class. Next, the winners from each class will compete in front of the school for a prize and the right to call themselves the Rock, Paper, Scissor Campion! The funds raised go towards helping our Student Council do more fun activities and prizes throughout the school year.
