Tanzanite House has earned its first-ever win, and what a close competition it was! They edged out The House of Rhodonite by the slimmest of margins, showing just how important every single point was. Students worked incredibly hard everyday meeting learning goals, attending school consistently, and staying focused without letting up. Their dedication and perseverance paid off in a a big way. Congratulations to everyone in the Tanzanite House for your outstanding effort and teamwork!

We learned a lot about the 7 Habits of Happy Kids and Leader in Me this past school year. Keep up the Habits over the summer by completing this BINGO board! Choose 5 in a row to get a BINGO or play cover all... the choice is yours! Students who turn their BINGO board in to the office at the beginning of the school year will be entered into a drawing to get a wheel spin!

If you plan on picking your students up from school daily or occasionally, please fill out the registration for car rider tags. These tags ensure a safe and speedy pick up line. Only one application needs to be submitted per family. The tags will be given to the OLDEST SCE student in your family on Meet the Teacher Night.

Over the summer, we add to our collage of framed photographs in our hallway. It looks amazing and our SCE Family will love being able to look up at these as they walk through the hallway. If you did not hand yours in you may still do so, but know they will not be hung up immediately. This takes a team of teachers and other volunteers to do this. If you hand a frame in now, it will go up but be patient. Any frames handed in prior to July 11 will be included in the frames we target to hang up for August. Frames received after July 11 will be stored and hung up at a later date. Each family may contribute only one 5x7 frame.

What type of frames are we looking for?

• Must be 5x7

• Photo can be vertical or horizontal

• Black Frame

• Frames will be screwed into wall. Please see the frame type we are looking for below. These frames hold up to being screwed into the wall. Not having the right frame may delay frame being hung.
