Westfield families:
It's hard to believe we only have one week of school before winter break! We will have a lot of fun activities, so be sure to pay attention to the teachers' newsletters and read the information below about spirit days.
Don't forget that PTC is hosting Winterfest at Westfield tomorrow (Saturday 12/14) from 1:00-3:00 p.m. There will be lots of fun activities, so I hope to see you there!

Spirit week next week
Student council has organized spirit days next week for students and staff who wish to participate.
Monday: Hat day
Tuesday: Ugly sweater day
Wednesday: Staff/student switch up (students dress like staff and staff dress like students)
Thursday: Character day (dress like your favorite character)
Friday: Pajama day
Schools will be closed December 23-January 6 for winter break
The last day of school before winter break will be Friday, December 20. All schools will be closed December 23 through January 3 for winter break, and then closed for a School Improvement Day on Monday, January 6. All students will return on a regular schedule on Tuesday, January 7.
The district office will be closed on December 24, 25, and 31, as well as January 1.

Check out the newest edition of our student newspaper. The kids did a great job!
Enjoy student music performances in December
December will be filled with musical student performances. The Glen Crest jazz band will perform December 16 at Glen Crest. There will be an orchestra concert December 18 and a band concert December 19, both at Glenbard South. Community members are welcome. Times and more info: https://bit.ly/3Z0JuDD
Parent Series: Strengthening teen socialization skills (December 17)
At noon and 7 p.m. on Tuesday, December 17, psychologist Tim Wahlberg will discuss how to support children’s social communication so they feel calmer and better able to handle their emotions as they become independent and respectful adults. Winterfest on December 14
Join PTC for Winterfest at Westfield on Saturday, December 14 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. There will be lots of activities for the family!
Restaurant fundraiser
Meal Village will donate a portion of meals ordered between December 9 and 20 to the Westfield PTC. Include the code WSTF24 at checkout. A list of the menu items for the month is below.
Spirit wear stickers & magnets now available
PTC has magnets & stickers available for purchase at Westfield's front office. Magnets are $10 and stickers are $3. Shirts and sweatshirts will be on sale at PTC sponsored events.
