Weekly Update for 2/10-2/14

Principal's Message

Explorers and EH Families,

We had a fantastic start to February here at East Heritage, and there’s so much to look forward to in the coming week!

Our Districtwide LCAP Community Forum has been rescheduled for Tuesday, February 11th. We would love to have a strong turnout from our school community! There will be a virtual session in the morning and an in-person session in the evening—please see the flyer below for details.

Our Math Academy and Coding after-school classes will continue this week, along with two special Black History Month art classes. These exciting opportunities allow our students to explore creativity and learning in new ways!

Thursday marks the end of the second trimester, which is also the final day for students to meet their Accelerated Reader (AR) goals. Please encourage your child to complete any remaining AR tests before then!

Lastly, a friendly reminder that there will be no school on Friday or the following Monday as we enjoy a well-deserved four-day weekend in celebration of Presidents' Day.

There are two ways to purchase spiritwear at East Heritage! The first option for spiritwear is to order a shirt or sweatshirt from our amazing PTO by turning in an order form which will be sent home during the first few weeks of school. The second option for spiritwear is to order from our spiritwear website at www.eastheritagespiritwear.com. You can use this website (linked above) to design your own spiritwear. Throughout the year, there will be various promotions that you can take advantage of, so be sure to check the website often!

Parent Engagement Information

We are always looking for parents who are interested in serving on a committee and/or being a part of our PTO! More information about committee position will be coming home with your child on the first day of school. See the flyer below for more information about joining the PTO.
