Student Council's Fall-O-Ween Dance
A big thank you to Mr. Nate Bates, student council advisor, and his student council members who organized a great dance this past weekend. The students were treated to night of dancing and upbeat jams. Shout out to Ms. Bubeck, Mrs. Murphy, and Mrs. Seddon for chaperoning the event and Mr. Bertasavage for making the dance floor awesome! Be on the lookout for more fun events planned by this great group of students!
Special Olympics - Flag Football
Big shout out to MAHS senior Nick Kramer and his amazing teammates participating in the Special Olympics. Each weekend they play organizations from around the county. Thier latest opponents were the Pennsylvania State Police. The games are played at Penn State Schuylkill. The turnout was fantastic with families and student athletes from all over the county to cheer their classmates on!
We Celebrated Red Ribbon Week 10/24- 10/28
MAHS is celebrated Red Ribbon Week with multiple spirit days and messages throughout the week to educate students on the dangers of drugs and making destructive decisions.

The message this year was, One Pill Can Kill! Students read facts about drug use over the morning announcements that discussed the dangers of abusing prescription drugs and other illegal/controlled substances.
Murder in the Knife Room
Friday, November 18 & Saturday, November 19 at 7:00pm
One murder, twenty suspects. Who killed the mysterious host? Could it be the Respected General? What about the Wealthy Dowager? Or maybe it was Santa Claus!!
The mystery unfolds as inexplicably Omniscient Inspector takes on the most thrilling and baffling murder case in the history of thrilling and baffling murder cases.
The show is at 7:00 pm on both Friday and Saturday in the high school auditorium. Tickets are $10 dollars and can be purchased at the door.
Nothing O-Negative About Our Blood Drive!
Mrs. Eggler would like to thank everyone who helped out with the blood drive especially you the donors. Because of our donors, we had 21 units which will save 63 adult lives and 78 infants. Thank you for our continued success with saving lives right here in Schuylkill county! Next drive will be in the spring!
Lycoming College Presentation & the John E. Morgan Scholarship
Lycoming graduate, Senator Dave Argall, and representatives from the college presented to current juniors and seniors at MAHS. The students learned about the various opportunities the college offers and the financial scholarship that is available for Schuylkill County students.
