Homecoming Parade on Thursday 9/21

The Homecoming parade begins at 6:30pm on Thursday 9/21 at the Grange Fair Grounds.


Students should report to Grange Fair by 6pm in full uniform. Students are responsible for transportation to and from Grange Fair.


Band students with larger instruments (drumline, tenor saxophone, baritone) are going to load their instruments for the parade on Wednesday night in the band trailer at the end of rehearsal. Students are welcome to load their uniform on the trailer Wednesday night or take the uniform with them to Grange Fair on Thursday.


Homecoming Football Game vs. Bellefonte Area HS on Friday 9/22

2:00pm Band students dismissed to band room

2:15pm Homecoming Pep Rally in New Large Gym

3:30pm Rehearsal at stadium

4:30pm Dinner break, change into uniforms

6:00pm Uniform inspection and step off from HS

6:45pm PreGame Show Performance

7:00pm Kickoff

8:00pm Halftime show performance

9:30pm Homecoming Court Ceremony (band is not performing)

10:00pm Game ends & return to HS

P V Music Boosters Parent Volunteering Opportunities

There will be a PV Music Boosters meeting on Tuesday 9/19 in the HS Bandroom. Please attend to learn more about we can help support our student musicians!


The Penns Valley Music Boosters are the parent organization for the entire music department. Its members primary goal is to support the music department through funding to provide the best musical experience possible for our students.

Dutch Fall Festival - 10/7 & 10/8

The annual Dutch Fall Festival in Aaronsburg will be on October 7th and 8th. The music boosters will be having a food booth. In order to make it more manageable we have chosen to try walking tacos this year. We have also been approved to sell PV apparel. In order for this to be a successful fundraiser we really need your help to cover shifts in the booth. This event is especially fun because the students get to work along side the parents. Consider signing up and helping make this event a success. If we all pitch in a little it makes the entire event go so much more smoothly.
