We are excited to jump into Quarter 2 this week and also excited for our Touch Base Parent-Teacher Conferences this Monday, 11/4 (NO SCHOOL) and to honor Election Day this Tuesday, 11/5 (NO SCHOOL). Please find Potomac Senior High School updates below:
+ TOUCH BASE: REMINDER! Monday, November 4th we will hold our Fall Touch Base event from 8:30 – 10:30am at the school. The Touch Base event provides parents with the opportunity to briefly meet with teachers to discuss student progress and to plan strategies for continued student growth. All teachers will be located in the gym. Students do not report to school as the remainder of the day will serve as a teacher workday.
In order to assist with cutting down on wait time, we have created shifts by balancing our student’s last names into groups and have assigned the time slots for visits:
A - J: 8:30-9:30am
K - Z: 9:30-10:30am
+ SPECIALTY NIGHT: Attention all underclassmen: Potomac High School is home to several Specialty Programs that give you the opportunity to challenge yourself and graduate with specialized skills. We offer Specialty Programs in Culinary Arts, Cybersecurity, Welding, and our Cambridge Program. You can learn more by attending our Specialty Program Night on Wednesday, November 6th from 6:30pm - 8:00pm in our auditorium. Join us to ask questions, hear from teachers in these programs, and learn how each program can prepare you for life after high school.
