Coffman Parents
The first week of December at Coffman High School has been a fantastic start to the month!
As we approach the end of the second semester, it’s a great time to connect with your student and review their current academic progress.
Additionally, please take a moment to check out the semester exam schedule below.

Sophomores Visit Emerald Campus - December 11, 2024
Coffman sophomores will visit Emerald Campus to learn about the courses and experiences available to Dublin high school students.
Students with the last names A - Kh will attend from 9:20 am - 11:30 am.
Students with the last names Ki - Z will attend from 12:10 pm - 2:15 pm. STUDENTS ATTENDING THE AFTERNOON TOUR WILL RELEASED AND EAT at 11:25 AM.
Students who do NOT wish to participate in the field trip on January 10th may have their parents complete the Opt Out Form by December 10th. Students who opt out are expected to follow their normal schedule.
- Students will be notified through email which bus number they will ride. Please see this attached spreadsheet for reference.
During the visits, students will learn more about pathways and career communities, as well as the Emerald Campus programming:
- Academies
- International Baccalaureate (IB) courses
- IB Diploma Program
- College Credit Plus options

Students who are required to re-test have been notified and a letter has been emailed home.

Adjusted Bell Schedule for Semester Exams December 17-20, 2024
- Semester exams will be administered for full-year courses only, beginning Tuesday, December 17 – Friday, December 20, 2024.
- Click here for the Semester Exam Schedule 2024.
- Students are encouraged to take semester exams during their scheduled time.
- If your student needs to take Semester Exams at an alternate date due to travel, please send a signed note to the attendance office and they will be given a pre-planned absence form for completion
Students leaving prior to the end of the school day:
- Students complete the exam during the scheduled time.
- Students return 2024 DCHS SEMESTER EXAM ABSENCE FORM to the Attendance Office.
Buses will run on the regular schedule TO school and DEPART Coffman at 1:18 PM on exam days.
Seal of Biliteracy Spring Testing Opportunity
The Seal of Biliteracy recognizes students who can demonstrate a high level of proficiency in English and at least one other language.
The Seal of Biliteracy assessment window will provide students the opportunity to show proficiency in a second language. Please see the requirements in the attached document. If you are interested in this testing opportunity, complete this form by Friday, January 17, 2025.
Students who register to take the test and meet the requirements must submit a payment of $25 via PaySchools by February 28, 2025. Financial assistance is available for those students who qualify.
Spring testing will take place at Dublin Coffman High School on Saturday, March 8, 2025.

College Credit Plus (CCP) Virtual Night
Our Academics team will hold a College Credit Plus (CCP) Virtual Information Session on December 10 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Here is the link to the virtual session. This link can also be found on our website.
College Credit Plus (CCP) is Ohio’s dual enrollment program. It provides students in grades 7-12 the opportunity to take college classes from Ohio colleges/universities for free. This opportunity allows Ohio's students to earn these college credits and high school credits at the same time. Information about important dates, Dublin's options, and CCP guidelines can be here.

- Yearbooks can be picked up at the front desk, (door #8) school days, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Student Parking
- Student Parking Passes are sold out for the 2024-2025 school year.
- Students MUST have a 2024-2025 DCHS parking pass to park in the student lot.
- Those without a pass will be asked to move their car.
- Students without a student parking pass may still drive to school, but must park in the parking lot next to the Dublin Community Recreation Center.

Twilight School
The final Twilight School/Homework Help for 2024 will be held on Wednesday, December 11th and will resume on Wednesday, January 15, 2025. Twilight School is held on Wednesdays after school, in the library from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm. Students do not need to remain at Twilight School the entire time and will have the freedom to leave early if needed. Transportation will be provided at 4:30 pm. Winter Weather Procedures
