SPECIAL MESSAGE TO K - 3RD GRADE PARENTS
As we enter our second quarter, we are happy to see the kids are adjusting well to their surroundings, teachers, and friends. With that being said, we have noticed a lot of parents still walking their kiddos to class in the morning and throughout the day if they arrive late. It's difficult for us to say "no," as we are parents too; but we must ask that you do not do this. We know it's hard to say goodbye, but please do so at the door (or lobby if arriving late). This encourages independence for each student, as well as limits disruptions to the class(es). If your younger student is hesitant to walk to their class alone, our safety patrol or office staff will be glad to walk them down. Thank you for understanding and for helping us to keep our school days running efficiently for our students!
From Handbook:
In order to provide a safe and distraction free environment no parent may go directly to a classroom during school hours.
ALL SCHOOL THANKSGIVING FEAST!! NOVEMBER 22ND
Our Thanksgiving Feast is quickly approaching! This is a special tradition for Holy Cross students and staff to celebrate the holiday together.
As in previous years, each classroom will create a delicious part of the meal to share.
❗❗Our great group of volunteers will source all the rest of the goodies, we just ask that each student bring in a minimum of $5 to contribute towards it all.❗❗
Thank you for your support! It is very much appreciated. If you would like to help CLICK HERE, must have PGC and background check.
DO YOU HAVE A FAVORITE PET?
Our music teacher, Ms. Volz, wants to decorate the music room with photos of the kids favorite pets. Please have your student bring in a physical photo with the pets name on it to music class. Or send a digital copy to Ms. Volz at lucyjakeskye@gmail.com .
