Harmony Week – Wear Orange! 🧡

This week we celebrate Harmony Week at OLOM.

📅 Friday, 21 October – Students can wear orange to school!

Orange is the colour of social communication, respect, and inclusivity. Australians wear orange on Harmony Day to support diversity and belonging. We can’t wait to see a sea of orange at school tomorrow!

OLOM Choir at City of Wanneroo Harmony Day 🎶

Our school choir will perform at the City of Wanneroo's Harmony Day Celebration at Hudson Park after school on Friday. A big thank you to Mrs Agnello for her work with the choir. We are excited to see our students share their musical talents with the community!

Parent-Teacher Meetings – Week 9 & 10

Parent-Teacher meetings will be held in Week 9 and 10.

✅ Each meeting is 15 minutes long
✅ This replaces the interim report from past years

Year 6 Visit to Parliament House 🏛

Our Year 6 students visited Parliament House and the Electoral Commission on Tuesday.

This excursion connected with their Humanities and Social Sciences learning. It helped students see how government and voting work in real life. Thank you to Mrs Henery, Miss Beynon, and Mrs Notte for organising the day and ensuring the students had a wonderful experience. Also, a big thank you to our parent volunteers—we hope you learned something new too!

The P&F is seeking donations for its annual Easter Raffle. These can include Easter chocolates, art and craft. OLOM is a nut aware school so we ask for items that DO NOT include peanuts and hazelnuts. Donations can be taken to your child's classroom. We appreciate your support. The raffle will be drawn in the last week of Term 1, Week 9.

We are enrolling for Kindy 2026. If you have family or friends with children entering Kindy next year, invite them to book a visit - Mr Sirolli would love to show them around the school. Children very welcome too! Just speak with Mrs Caruso in the office.

Kids Academy runs before and after school care here at OLOM. Pop into see them if you are interested in using this service to help look after your child before or after school.
