Hello, Forest Park families!
It was wonderful to everyone that attended our November Parent/Teacher Conferences! Thank you for taking time to meet with our teachers and discuss your students' progress. I would encourage you to download the PowerSchool App so that you can stay up to date with your student's academics. Teachers should also have Google Classroom set up for you to check out the daily agenda and learning targets for the day. If you ever have questions, please reach out to your student's teachers.
Best Buddies: I’d like to shout out the efforts of our Best Buddies Group led by Ms. Greco, Mrs. Maas, and Mrs. Lemberger. At their last meeting, students were paired with their buddies and engaged in a pumpkin painting activity. As they got to know one another, students completed an “About Me” book. I look forward to watching these amazing relationships grow! Thank you to all who came and participated!
Update from our AP’s: In advisory, students now have the opportunity to brighten each other's day with handwritten, peer-to-peer shoutouts! This initiative encourages students to recognize and celebrate one another’s efforts, accomplishments, and positive qualities. These shoutouts are then delivered by our office staff, creating a supportive environment and fostering a strong sense of community. We’re excited to see our students engaging with each other in meaningful ways, building connections, and uplifting their peers.
Thank You, Franklin!
As shared with families, staff, and the community, the referendum to update and expand Franklin High School and to deal with maintenance needs at FHS and the five elementary schools passed successfully on Tuesday. Below is a “thank you” video from Franklin Public Schools for the continued support of our students, staff and schools.
On-Site Therapy Clinics Available With CPA
Middle & High school is an important time of change and growth both academically and emotionally. Developing the awareness of the impact of emotions on functioning is a valuable skill to create overall health and wellness.
If you feel your student is struggling with difficulty managing their emotions such as; anxiety, stress, depressed mood, consider finding some support. Therapy can provide tools to help them better deal with the complications that can come along with this challenging time of life.
Clinical Psychology Associates (CPA) has established counseling clinics in Forest Park Middle School & Franklin High School available to provide further support and establish a process of therapy. For more information, please see our website. Appointments are scheduled directly with CPA staff by calling or texting (262) 251-1112.

3-Week Saber Pre-School By FHS Child II Development In December
The Franklin High School Child Development II students will be sponsoring “Saber Pre-school” for children ages 3 to 5 on various days in December.
Saber Pre-school is designed for children ages 3 to 5 who are toilet trained and ready to experience a supportive and enriching pre-school environment. The student teachers prepare daily lesson plans that not only provide opportunities for the Little Sabers to develop socially, but also to enhance their kindergarten readiness skills. The Saber Pre-school program offers a truly excellent experience for both our big and small students.
Class time will be from 9:00 to 10:15 am and tuition is $20 to cover the cost of materials and snacks for the entire 3 weeks. Saber Pre-school will include story time, large and small group activities, free time, songs and other fun activities. Pre-registration is required. Registration closes when we hit 25 participants or by Friday, November 15th at the latest. If you know someone who has a child ages 3-5, please help us by sharing this message to them!

FHS Fall Play: "Almost, Maine" 11/14-11/17
The FHS Fall Play is fast approaching with shows taking place Thurs 11/14 through Sun 11/17. For tickets and show information, please visit the Saber Center website here.
Show Description: Welcome to Almost, Maine, a place that’s so far north, it’s almost not in the United States. It’s almost in Canada. And it’s not quite a town, because its residents never got around to getting organized. So it almost doesn’t exist. One cold, clear, winter night, as the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky above, the residents of Almost, Maine, find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and hilarious ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. But the bruises heal, and the hearts mend—almost—in this delightful midwinter night’s dream.
