News from DLT
- This year we will be having a chromebook cart for grades K-2. This mobile cart will allow students to have access to technology in their classrooms. This will be implemented after the start of school.
- In an attempt to make sure all the administrators are present and engaged in our DLT meetings, we will be having a "no tech on the table" policy during the meetings. This means that I won't be quite as readily accessible while I am at those meetings. However, we also recognize that things may happen while we are out of our buildings that do require our immediate attention. In the case of an emergency, please contact Karen Totman and she will come get me.
Friday Fun
When I was a teacher in the classroom, every week I had something called "Friday Fun" in our schedule. Sometimes that was an extra recess, or an academic game, some free time for students to do an activity of their own choosing, or a special treat of some sort. I have decided to follow this same principle this year with all of you. So, each week, you can look forward to something out of the ordinary on Fridays. I hope you all enjoy it.
Friday fun for Aug. 30th will be a special snack waiting for you in your mailboxes. I hope you enjoy!
Start your day off right...
