π Attendance Matters π
Regular attendance is key to your child's success! We've provided the 2024-2025 attendance policy to help you stay informed on excused absences, tardiness, and other guidelines.
Please take a moment to review the details, and reach out if you have any questions. Thank you for your support in ensuring a great year for our students!
π A Note from Our School Social Worker π
I want to officially welcome you to fall! Football games, cooler temperatures, and sweaters make this my favorite season of all! Of course, along with the changing colors of the leaves, we often see an increase in colds and other respiratory infections. Remember, as long as your child is not running a fever or vomiting, they may come to school. Our health staff can address any needs of your child at school and will call you if they need to go home. If they must be out, remember to send in a note to explain their absence. Please visit Attendance Information for more information and a breakdown of the Douglas County Attendance Policy.
With illness often comes doctorβs appointments. An estimated five million children across the country have lost their Medicaid coverage in the past year β and many of them are likely still eligible. If your student has lost their coverage, please visit Medicaid Redetermination for more information and follow the links there to go through the redetermination process and get your child covered today!
If you are in need of support services, feel free to email me at faith.payne@dcssga.org or call O: 770-651-3282 C: 404-906-3613.

If your student has misplaced a coat, sweater, jacket, water bottle, or lunch box, please stop by the school to look through our "LOST & FOUND" bins of student items! π§₯π₯€
To help us return lost items quickly, please label all belongings with your child's name.
