Catholic schools integrate FAITH into all aspects of the curriculum?

Catholic Schools are the “core” of our Faith. In celebration of Catholic Education Week our students gathered with big and little buddies to share their favourite things of being in a Catholic School. Their answers were heartwarming! Special thanks to Ms. Doehring, our school Faith Lead, for planning and organizing this great activity with our cross grade buddies. It is so great to celebrate our faith in a welcoming and inclusive community everyday!

Halloween can be a spooky time! Whether it’s ghosts, zombies, or the fear of failure, there is no wrong “thing” of which to be afraid. What is important though, is that we recognize how hurtful OR helpful fear can be in reaching our goals. Fear can feel like a brick wall, stopping us from moving forward. Fear can also be the hammer that helps us break that brick wall down! Our fears can help us achieve our dreams!

Check out this Dreams & Fears activity from Big Life Journal that you can do at home! This activity will help your child visualize the power of their fears and how to channel those fears to achieve their dreams.

This program is open to all Canadian Catholic women, from all walks of life who have a

genuine interest in making a difference in their communities and places of work. They are

currently accepting applications for the 2025 cohort of their Leadership Program, scheduled

The students will also have the option to engage in some events that do not have a ticket cost for participating. (movie, drawing, computer activities). Activities include the hauted house, face painting, fear factor, obstacle course, glitter tattoos, ice cream treat and more!!!

We are inviting students to dress in Halloween costumes OR Black/Orange on Thursday, October 31. We request that the costumes reflect the fun of the day, not be frightening to our younger children and not include plastic/face covering masks, weapons or props as these can be distracting and may get misplaced. Please ensure your child’s costume choice is in keeping with our Catholic values.
