Congratulations to our Students for Showing Respect!

Dear River Mill Families,

It is hard to believe that we are already approaching the 2023 calendar year. Reflecting upon the start of the school year, we can't help but to stop and acknowledge the continued development and risk taking of our students all around. Our staff and students have worked incredibly hard to establish a positive culture where they can thrive. Thank you for entrusting us with your child each day; we are so grateful to have the opportunity to serve you.

During this Winter Break, our wish is for you to have the opportunity to be with your loved ones and take some time to rest. We look forward to welcoming out students back on Tuesday, January 3rd (additional week's details below).

This Week's Schedule

In order to help you all know what the week looks like, we will list it out clearly for you each week. REID days for are invited students and will change each week. Students are invited to REID days for a variety of reasons. Sometimes it's to extend or challenge a student, and other times it might be to provide extra help on a particular skill. On those days, our doors open at 7:50 and dismissal is at 10:00am. If you have questions about this week's schedule, please let. us know!

When we return in January:

Monday, January 2nd, No School
Tuesday, January 3rd, Regular School Day
Wednesday, January 4th: Regular School Day
Thursday, January 5th: Regular School Day
Friday, January 6th: Regular School Day

Jan. 16th - No School, MLK Day

Jan. 25th - Kinder/5th Grade Family Breakfast

Why Attendance Matters

We have a number of students who are arriving at school late each day. We really emphasize the importance of coming to school each day and on time to establish routine, consistency, and we don't want your child to miss important social and academic items that are so valuable to their school success. If there is a specific circumstance causing this for your family, please let us know so we can support you. Thank you.

Then we recognize members of our school community for exemplifying the trait. All of these help us to reach our school district's long term mission of equipping our students with the knowledge and skills necessary to be resourceful and successful.

My School Bucks - Meal Service Payment System

My School Bucks is an online payment service that provides parents the ability to securely pay for meals, monitor student cafeteria purchases, and receive email notifications for low account balances.

Please note: currently, a convenience fee of $2.75 will be applied for each transaction.

All transactions are processed and applied to students' accounts nightly.
