12 Days of Christmas Fun with our Staff!!
Science is fun!
5th grade scientists are using natural light to show how a prism refracts light into color by using convex and concave lenses to magnify or reduce images.
4th grade scientists are learning about different forces. After their lab they worked in groups to create posters to show what they learned!
Evans Annual Thanksgiving Parade
Mrs. Ratcliff led our parade off in her turkey costume. Ms. Kelton's TRAILs students and Mrs. Goodwin's GT students followed behind with the floats they created with balloons and other materials. Of course, Santa is always the grand finale of the parade. This has become and annual event that is loved by staff and students...we love that out GT and life skills students work to create a special event to kick off the holiday season for everyone!
TRAILs Field Trip Fun!
It was a busy day of fun, outside-the-box learning for Ms. Kelton’s class. Students and staff ventured to the Creative Arts Center for a fabulous morning of seasonal crafts then off to Braums for a delicious warm lunch and sweet treat! After enjoying a meal with friends, students and staff used their shopping lists and budgets to purchase items for their upcoming classroom Thanksgiving lunch. Ms. Kelton, staff and students greatly appreciate the staff at the Creative Arts Center for providing a great outlet to explore, express and create.
