THMS Student Update
October 2024
Dear Badger Community,
It is hard to believe that we are already at the end of our First Quarter! Our Seniors have only three quarters left until Graduation! There is no school this Friday, October 4th, as our teachers will be inputting student grades.
Students, when you view your First Quarter Grades, please also review your Attendance. There is a direct correlation between student attendance and academic progress. We want all students to be on time, in every class, every day. If your grades are not what you expect, showing up to class is the easiest way to improve. Students can get additional support from teachers during Conference Periods on Fridays, during Badger Power Hour on Fridays, and by attending After School Tutoring in the Cafeteria on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
The school will be closed next Monday through Friday, October 7th - 11th for Fall Break. We hope you all enjoy this time off and will be ready for the Second Quarter on Monday, October 14th!
Happy Fall!

Interim Principal,
Tucson High Magnet School
