New School Board Members to Be Sworn In During April 22nd School Board Meeting
HUHS Staff and School Board,
We want to thank the residents of our district who took the time to exercise their right to vote on April 2. We also are grateful for the four candidates who appeared on the ballot and provided a choice for the citizens of our district.
Friday morning, the third and final step of verifying and canvassing the votes from the most recent school board election was completed here at Hartford Union High School. We are excited to welcome Ms. Heather Barrie and Mr. Nolan Jackett as the newest members of the Hartford Union High School Board.
We are eager to collaborate with the two of them and excited for their enthusiasm to support our students and staff. Together, we will continue to focus on providing all students a jumpstart to success, as we build graduates who are engaged citizens and lifelong learners.
Please join us in congratulating Heather and Nolan as they join our HUHS team!
Warm regards,
Mr. Jeffrey A. Walters, Superintendent
Ms. Tracy Hennes, School Board President
They are BACCCKKKKK! Spring Break in France!
Thank you to French Teacher Jamie Piittmann and Science Teacher Michael Yohn
This was French Teacher Jamie Piittmann's 19th time organizing this excursion to France for nine HUHS students this year. Be sure to ask Peter Fulop, Claire Hanrahan, Annika Kumar, Isabella Kumar, Mia Majeskie, Alex Marx, Kaci Packard, Karl Packard, Maddie Pouzar, and Elena Rettler, "How was your trip?"
Traveling Brings History and Other Cultures to Life!
Seeing is believing. On his first trip to France, Science Teacher Michael Yohn made sure he didn't miss seeing the Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci at the Louve. You'll enjoy all the great pictures and videos of our HUHS students and their new friends seeing the sites.
