Message from Ms. Alwood, Our Site Facilitator
Dear Families, Los SCARE-itos is coming up! There are several ways you can get involved! One is to bring candy and drop it off in the office. The other is to let us know about your family-friendly business. To let us know about your wonderful business, please fill out this Google form and we will contact you about what a partnership with Los Cerritos might look like! You'll be invited to host a pop-up tent at our exciting after school Los SCARE-itos event! After the holidays, we will have a business partner lunch to further build connections to see how we can serve each other. By filling out the form, you will become part of a school-wide directory. Thank you for showing an interest in the Los Cerritos community!

Message on Oct 17th families to test the District Emergency System:
Greetings, Long Beach Unified School District Families.
This is a test message of the districtโs emergency family notification system. No further action is required. Today at 10:17 AM, all schools took part in International ShakeOut Day to practice earthquake safety. In a real emergency, we will notify families by phone, email, and/or text message about school protocols and next steps. To ensure that you will receive all notifications in a real emergency, please keep your contact information in ParentVUE up-to-date throughout the year and review your contact preferences in our School Messenger notification system by going to lbschools.net, selecting โFamiliesโ from the Main Menu, and then clicking on School Messenger.
If you have already provided a cell phone for Annual Verification, and would like to receive text messages from the district or your childโs school, please text the letter โYโ to the 5-digit number, 67587.
Again, this is a test message of the districtโs emergency family notification system. Thank you
