Weekly Newsletter
Week of September 23rd
Dear Families,
Thank you to all who were able to attend our Back to School Night. Our students are settling into their classes and the routine of the school year as the first quarter is rapidly unfolding.
Students have received their login credentials for RenWeb and Google Classroom. Each student spent some time in class this week logging in. RenWeb is our primary method for communicating information related to grading. It is important that students regularly check RenWeb to ensure that they are keeping up with all of their assignments. Quarter 1 progress reports will be sent via RenWeb on Wednesday, October 2nd. The progress report provides a snapshot in terms of current grades, student conduct, and student effort. The rubrics for student conduct and student effort can be found in the Parent-Student Handbook. Please remember that the progress report is just a check in and does not impact eligibility for honor roll, athletics, and co-curricular activities.

Volunteering: Food for Children
Food for Children is an organization St. Joseph Junior High School has supported for several years now. FFC gathers every Saturday morning in the parking lot of JFK Coliseum, 303 Beech St., Manchester starting at about 8 a.m., and provides food for anywhere from 200 to 300 people. St. Joseph students, parents, and staff volunteer on the first Saturday of the month, so our first event of the new school year will be Saturday, October 5. The day typically wraps up around 11-11:30 a.m.
