A Message From Mrs. Carmody
Dear Fremont Families,
We had a chilly ending to our week. Thank you for your patience with our pick-up line. Cold days tend to mean longer lines. When everyone follows our carpool rules we can move quickly. Thank you for staying in your cars. This keeps everyone safe and the line moving.
We have one more week until winter break. This tends to be a week filled with energy. Please try to stick to regular bedtime routines as a good night's sleep help us all manage the excitement of the upcoming break. Thank you!
In gratitude,
Beth Carmody

Free Mental Health Resources
Dear Fremont Families,
As we approach the holiday season, it's important to remember that our students' social-emotional and mental health remain top priorities, especially during this time of year. Please take the time to review our new Family Resources document created by the Fremont Mental Health Team to help support our students and families.
Additionally, ReferralGPS is a service providing assistance to our community in finding local mental-health and substance use-related treatment resources. The service compliments the District's existing support systems as a tool for student service teams and families to connect with treatment. Along with a searchable database of treatment options, ReferralGPS provides Care Navigation to assist families in triage and appointment setting.
School district staff and families may access ReferralGPS in two ways:
Contact Student Services (social workers, psychologists, counselors) to seek out treatment options
Visit this link to search for treatment resources or connect with a Care Navigator anonymously
The platform has the ability to filter by mental health concern, clinician gender/specialty, location, and insurance acceptance. The service is available for all types of private and public insurance options including PPO, HMO, Medicaid, and families that are uninsured or underinsured.
ReferralGPS is available for use by District students, staff, and families at no cost. All information entered on the ReferralGPS tool is completely confidential and securely stored.
Please note, this service is an optional resource available by choice and is not mandatory in any way. If you are interested in seeking counseling-related services at this time, please consider reaching out to the Student Services team or visit https://referralgps.com/find-help/FSD79.
Your involvement and understanding are vital as we navigate this holiday season together, ensuring a supportive environment for our children. Thank you for being an integral part of our school community.
Best regards,
Ms. Krista Winkelman
Executive Director of Student Services
Deadline TODAY - Wednesday Right at School and Transportation Registration
Registration for Wednesday Right at School for Fremont K-5 students for January 8, 2025, through the end of the school year is open now through December 13.

Please refer to our Pick-up and Drop-off Procedures for our specific guidelines.
A friendly reminder about our drop off and pick up line ...
- Please stay in your car when dropping off or picking up your student(s).
- Please do not park in the parking lot and send your student(s) to the school. Stay in the drop-off line.
- Please pull all the way forward in line when dropping off and picking up. Students exit the car on the sidewalk only.
- If you arrive at school after 8:55 am, you must come into the school to sign your student in. Doors close at 8:55 am.
Student Absences
If your child will be absent from school for any reason, please report the absence to the school office by 9:00 a.m. by calling 847-837-0437 option 2. Safety is our number one priority so please help us by reporting as soon as possible. Attendance at school is crucial for your child’s success so every effort should be made to avoid non-health-related absences.
School Lunches
We are going to be phasing out ice cream for sale at the Elementary School. We will begin the phase out by only offering on Fridays. Ice cream is only available to our first and second graders.
