This week, we are honoring Senior Reagan Baade as our Athlete of the Week! Reagan was a key part of OHS's volleyball team this season and was recently named Class 5 All-State, according to Head Coach Adeana Brewer.
"Reagan has contributed so much to the overall success of Ozark volleyball the past four years," Brewer said. "She has been a varsity starter for three years playing a six rotation role (meaning she does not come off the floor) and truly embraced her role as a leader for our team this season. Reagan is a leader by example, always getting her job done on the court and setting high standards for all of her teammates."
Brewer added, "Reagan's passion and heart was apparent in every single match she suited up for this season. Her energy and competitiveness was contagious to all around her. She led the Tigers to an impressive 29-6 season, a Conference Championship and a chance to play for the district crown. This was the best record and finish since 2018."
Regan will continue her athletic career playing volleyball at Missouri State University next fall!
Congrats Regan!
This week, we're honoring Senior Charles Lawson as an Athlete of the Week! Charles played linebacker for Ozark football this fall and was an important leader, according to Head Coach Jeremy Cordell.
"Charles was an integral part of our team as a senior leader helping to lay a culture of discipline and teamwork," Cordell said. "On the field Charles was an important member of our darkside defense and also on almost every special team. He plans to enlist in the Marines, and I can't think of a more dedicated individual to represent out country. We are all thankful for Charles."
