• PARENTS: PLEASE REINFORCE THE IMPORTANCE OF GOOD ATTENDANCE WITH YOUR STUDENT. we want to emphasize the importance of consistent attendance and punctuality. Students who are present and on time every day are more likely to succeed academically and socially.

• Auditions for the Spring Musical, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat are Monday, November 18 starting at 3:15pm, and Wednesday, November 20 at 5:30pm. Anyone and everyone is welcome to audition! If interested, please sign up on the bulletin board outside the choir room. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Wangeman in the choir room or Minda Nyquist in the Auditorium. Come be a part of the magic and tradition that is the West Musical Production!

• The next student senate hosted Versiti Blood Drive will be November 21st. Students ages 16-18 can donate (16 requires this waiver). Parents, please communicate with your student if you do or do not want them to participate in blood drives.

Parents, please join us on November 21 at 6pm in the LMC for a presentation on Financial Aid and the Michigan Achievement Scholarship. A speaker from Michigan Student Student aid will address topics including the upcoming FAFSA and college financing resources.

In person office hours will be held at Horizon Books, 243 E. Front Street, Traverse City, MI 49684 on the second floor (Mezzanine level). The Traverse City Area Public Schools (TCAPS) Board of Education will host its next monthly “office hours” in person on Thursday, November 21, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Horizon Books, 243 E. Front Street, Traverse City, MI 49684. The meeting will be located on the mezzanine level (second floor) of the bookstore. TCAPS Board office hours provide community members with the opportunity to talk to a school board trustee. This month, Trustee Ballenger le is scheduled to attend.
