Marian Central Catholic High School
From the Desk of Mr. Mike Shukis
Dear Parents/Guardians,
This is a good time for Marian Central to share what our outcomes will always be for our graduates. We will believe that every member of our Marian Central Catholic High School community will practice faith in God, commit to excellence, seek knowledge, live ethically, and promote justice, while acting with a global awareness.
Profile of a Marian Central Catholic High School Graduate
Our goal will be to graduate academically accomplished Christian young men and women who are prepared to commit their lives to Grace, Truth, and Unity and to serve each other, to serve society, and to serve God.
A Marian Central graduate will embody:
Christ, our Center and our Lord
Academics, Athletics, and the Arts
Truth which we seek in Love
Health of Body, Mind, and Spirit
Opportunities to serve others
Life, Protected and Cherished as God’s Gift
Individual giftedness
Curiosity and Creativity to explore God’s Creation

GRATUSGRACE
Truth – Showing oneself true in deeds and truthful in words.
Unity – Based on a shared life in Christ and is expressed through common love, purpose, and mission.
Grace – A free and underserved help that God gives us with the offer to participate in the life of God.

A Special Blessing for Mary Mother's Statue - TONIGHT
We are excited to share that the new Mother Mary statue has arrived - the final and most meaningful addition to our renovated front entrance at Marian Central.
Thanks to the generosity of a dedicated donor, our campus has been beautifully transformed with new landscaping, hardscape, and now, this special statue honoring our school’s namesake.
Please join us for a special Blessing Ceremony this Friday, May 23, at 6:30 PM (TONIGHT), just before graduation, as we gather in gratitude and faith to bless the statue and honor the heart of our Marian community.
We know it’s short notice, but the statue’s arrival was perfectly timed, and we couldn’t wait to share this moment with all of you. We hope to see you there!
Yearbook Camp
Since the Yearbook is such a big task, we like to get a head start on it before the school year begins. All students are invited to attend a Yearbook Camp this summer. The camp will be on Wednesday, August 6 from 9 AM-12 PM and Thursday, August 7 from 9 AM-12 PM at Marian.
Students enrolled in the class have received an email about the camp, but for more information, please contact Olivia Arza (oarza@marian.com)

Uniform Update for Parents & Students
We are officially discontinuing the black fleece as part of the school uniform. Going forward, students now have the option to wear a red or blue fleece, which can be purchased from our new uniform provider: uniformoutletinc.com. Just as a reminder our group login is 60098.
We’re excited about the updated look and confident the new fleece will keep students comfortable while keeping our school style consistent.
Thanks for your support as we make this simple switch!
Sincerely,
Benjamin Winkelman
