Holiday Recycling Locations & Times

Citizens Collection Station (4100 Smith Road) will be closed December 24th, 25th, and 26th for the Christmas Holiday. They will also be closed January 2 for New Year.

BRI (26 W. Industrial) will be closed December 23rd, 24th, 25th, and 26th for Christmas. They will be closed. They will also be closed January 2 for New Year.

Recycling Right Midland

We cannot recycle gift or wrapping paper.

We can accept cut live trees.

Buy Recycled

Recycling Right is only the first step to building the circular economy, the system that keeps our resources circulating from consumers back to manufacturers, creating more jobs and keeping our resources out of the landfill.

Texans can help 'close the loop' by buying products made with recycled content.

Please Flatten Your Cardboard

Cardboard is one of the key components of our supply chain and can be recycled up to 7 times!

To Recycle Right, cardboard boxes should empty, flattened, and any tape should get pulled off and go in the trash.

424 Vehicles (106 vehicles an hour) came through

The Return of the Volunteer Picnic

We had a blast being able to once again host or Fall Volunteer Picnic. We had over 150 people attend this year's picnic at Washington Park. Fun was had by all!

Diamondback Texas Arbor Day Event

Diamondback Energy partnered with the City of Midland, KMB, & TreeKeepers to plant 65 trees at Grasslands Park.

Located near Scharbauer Elementary. KMB presented to Scharbauer Elementary 4th Grade on the importance of Trees and Natural Resources and invited them to join in the fun. Diamondback sponsored a total of 100 trees planted in Midland for 2022!

QR Code for Guide

Valiant 1st Annual Event

We worked with Valiant and the Texas A&M Forest Service to plant 30 trees at Beal Park. The forest service also gave away 200 tree saplings as a thank you to our Veterans.

Education Numbers 2022

We had a blast at the Monarch City/Pollinators/Dia De Los Muertos Event. Our Monarch Wings Picture Station was a hit and loved by all ages! We had 250 students and over 50 volunteers and teachers attend. For more information on Monarch and our Monarch City, Click the Picture Below.

13 School participating in campus wide recycle programs with paid pickup by KMB

11,285 students and adults attended presentations, tree plantings, and events

Won two grants for 2023 use

$2,000 HEB, KTB Green Bag Grant which will be used for Clean Campus Competition

$5,000 KTB and Coca-Cola Texas Recycles Day Grant which will go to educational signage
