Bobby Chapman Junior Golf Foundation Scholarship

The Rock Hill Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., annually awards the Garrick--Ramseur Memorial Scholarships : multiple scholarships awarded ranging between $500- $2000. Scholarship applications are available to high school seniors who meet the following criteria: Attend a York County high school or current/past Rock Hill Alumnae Jabberwock participant, 3.0 GPA or higher, demonstrate service, demonstrate leadership

York County Education Association-Retired
Eligibility: York County High School Senior who will pursue a major in teacher education. Financial need, at least a 3.0 GPA, SAT or ACT score and transcript, letter of recommendation from a teacher at your high school, and an essay on why you wish to be an educator (include who or what has influenced you and what you have done to make this a reality)

The Michael A DeMayo Arrive Alive Scholarship: 2021
Eligibility: Must be a current high school senior who attends school and lives in the following counties: York, Chester, Union, Cherokee, Lancaster, Chesterfield, Marlboro and Dillon. Students must have been accepted for a full-time enrollment or planning to pursue a degree at an accredited four-year college or university. Must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Sheriff's Foundation of York County
Eligibility: Currently enrolled in a public or private school in York County. Must have a minimum of a B average, must be accepted by an accredited college or university for the academic year of 2021-2022. Must be a US citizen. Must submit a high school transcript, letter of acceptance, letter of recommendation, and submit an essay. Applicants must intend to pursue a law enforcement-related area of study, this includes criminal justice, detention/corrections, forensic science, criminology, social work, etc.

TCGC College Scholarship: The Tri-County Golf Club Foundation
Eligibility: Must have a permanent residency, and must attend one of the three high schools in South Carolina: Chester, Lancaster or York County. Must type an essay (300-500 words), two letters of recommendation which one needs to be from a school official, at least a 3.0 GPA, official transcript, an acceptance letter to the university or college you will attend, documented proof of community service hours (at least 40).

Minority Scholarship-Richard Boulware Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility: Must be a male who is a June 2021 graduating senior, located in York, Chester, or York county. Student must have at least a 3.0 GPA. Two letters of recommendation from a school or community member. Show a financial need.

South Carolina Association of Educational Office Professionals
Eligibility: 2 separate scholarship applications within the website. Each are for students who have financial need. The "general" application is for any senior and the "Marian Garrett" application is for future business majors. Both scholarships require a 3.0 GPA.

SC Teaching Fellows Scholarship
Eligibility: The mission of the Program is to recruit talented high school seniors into the teaching profession and help them develop leadership qualities. Each year, the program provides Fellowships for up to 200 high school seniors who have exhibited high academic achievement, a history of service to their school and community, and a desire to teach in South Carolina.

SC State Fair Scholarship
Eligibility: Students must plan to attend a college or university or Technical College. Students must maintain a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale and enroll in no less than 30 credit hours each academic year to receive funding for that year. 50 students in the state of South Carolina will be selected, the award is $6,000 overall. $1,500 given annually based on extracurricular achievement, communication skills, need and a completed application.
