Story Time!

Please allow us to introduce ourselves.

We are the Parent and Family Engagement Center liaisons. Seated from left to right, we are Dawn Mendenhall (Windsor Hill Arts Infused Elementary School), Elise Boehler (Knightsville Elementary School), Kari Kocian (Spann Elementary School). Standing from left to right, we are Ellen Townsend (Joseph Pye Elementary School), Lori Hamilton (Eagle Nest Elementary School).

Collectively we have 50 years of preschool instruction experience. We have been in Dorchester School District Two as parents, volunteers, substitute teachers, adult support, and teaching assistants.

We bring a wealth of experience and knowledge to YOUR family's Story Time experience.

Literacy and preschool learning is our passion. During the Story Time hour we will give you and your children a taste of the classroom experience. This experience will help prepare your children for school. Story Time is provided to Dorchester School District Two families through Title One. There is no cost to you to participate in Story Time or to check out the resources from the parenting centers.

Please join us for Story Time this year. If you have children between the ages of birth to five years old, you are welcome to join us!

Below is the Story Time schedule. You can attend Story Time at any parenting center as often as you would like.

Story Time Begins Monday, August 28!

This year Story Time will be offered Mondays through Fridays at 9 and 11 a.m. We cannot wait to read, craft, dance, sing, and learn with each of you!

Mondays at Windsor Hill Arts Infused Elementary School

Tuesdays at Joseph Pye, Spann, or Rotation Stations at Windsor Hill Arts Infused Elementary Schools

Wednesdays at Eagle Nest or Knightsville Elementary Schools, and Windsor Hill Arts Infused Elementary School

Thursdays at Joseph Pye, Spann, or Windsor Hill Arts Infused Elementary Schools

Fridays at Eagle Nest or Knightsville Elementary Schools.

All Story Times are 9 and 11 a.m. and are free and open to all our district families with preschool children. Sign up opportunities will be in next week's newsletter. We are excited to see you and your family!
