Need to Know Announcements

Friendly reminder - All medications left with the nurse must be picked up by 2:10 Wednesday. Any medication or supplies not picked up will be disposed of per district policy.
There is a "XC Meet & Greet" at CJHS from 5-6pm on Tuesday, May 28th. You will be able to meet the new Cross-Country coach if your student is planning on running.
Locker Day will be on August 4th from 1-3pm. Students can find out his/her team, practice the locker combination, get "back to school" information, and purchase some Hellstern gear!

Stop the Bleed

It's National Stop the Bleed Month. We want to give a big THANKS to all of our Hellstern staff that have done this training. Also, thank you Nurse Laura, for helping to get the training coordinated for us!

Band Info for 2024-25

Band Parent Meeting Info from 5/23/24

The cafeteria was packed for our band parent meeting! Thank you all for attending. Here are 2 handouts from the meeting. It shows chronological steps in what all to do for band. Please be sure you complete the online registration form for band and plan for 2 payments (1 payment to HMS & 1 payment to the music store). If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Huffman at julie.huffman@sdale.org .

If you are shopping for a used instrument or an online site (not from our 2 recommended stores), please contact Mrs. Huffman prior to purchasing so that she can help guide you with a YES or NO on whether you found a good deal.

If you missed the meeting, there will be another one on Tuesday, August 20th, in the HMS cafeteria where our 2 music companies will be present.
