Dr. Boeger's Notes
Good morning Sperreng,
We hope you all are safe and warm following our winter weather week last week. I have received a few questions about how many snow days we have remaining and plans for virtual learning should we exhaust all of our built in days. Our 2024-25 district calendar includes five built-in emergency weather days (“snow days”). Currently, we have utilized four emergency weather days. Should we utilize another day, we may then need to implement and AMI-Virtual Learning Day on the sixth day. I am working closely with our central office and our leadership team to finalize the details of this plan this week.
For our 8th grade families, please scroll down for updated information and timelines for LHS course registration. Additionally, 8th grade families, you received an email on Friday regarding our Fly Up Day to LHS and a permission slip we need filled out as soon as possible. We have about half of these completed already! Thank you!
Take care and talk soon,
Dr. Boeger

Basketball Game Expectations
We want to remind everyone of the following expectations for attending our 8th grade basketball games. If students plan to stay for any home basketball games, we ask that you have a ride at school no later than 5:20. Our games are 3:30 for the girls and 4:30 for the boys. All students are to report directly to the gym at dismissal. The games will be over around 5:20 and students will come out to the parent pick up side of the building right after the game. Having a ride available directly after the game at 5:20 will help ensure the safety of our students. Please note that if you plan to attend an away game,
- All students should report directly to the large gym at dismissal.
- Do not leave school and return for the games.
- Once you are at the event, there is no re-entry.
- Do not wander to off-limits locations.
- No food or drink allowed in the gym.
- Coordinate a pick up time by 5:20 at our drop off/pick up location.
- Students who do not follow our expectations will be asked to leave.
- Watch and enjoy the game.
