Dear Green Hope High School Families,

We hope you've had a wonderful week! Please be sure to review your students Quarter 4 Interims, sent home this week from teachers (or check Powerschool). We are noticing a decrease in student work completion. We have 10 instructional days remaining before we begin final exams. Please make sure your students are completing and submitting all assignments on time!

We are excited for Prom on Saturday. The doors open at 7:00pm. Please be reminded that all students attending Prom must arrive by 8:30 pm. We will not admit any students after 8:30pm. All school rules apply for the duration of the event. We are looking forward to a wonderful, fun event!

Lastly, we want to send a HUGE note of gratitude to our parents that serve as substitutes within the building! Your flexibility and love for our school and community makes for a better experience for all!

Seniors who have not completed their CPR Certification Graduation Requirement must complete that requirement this week. We will communicate with each of their 2nd period teachers who will send those students to the Commons on their assigned day to complete their required CPR Certification test.

The Green Hope Orchestras are collaborating with the Asian American Oral Project and the Green Hope Chorus for a wonderful concert in honor of Asian Americans. There is a variety of music from Bollywood, to classical, to Pop, and more - mostly composed by Asian and Asian American composers. I hope you can come celebrate with us the Asian Heritage Orchestra Concert. Tuesday, May 21st at 7pm in the GHHS auditorium. Tickets are $5. Purchase them in advance here.

The Spring Band Concert is Thursday May 23rd at 7pm!

We are excited to celebrate our Green Hope athletes who are continuing their athletic career in college during the National Letter of Intent Signing Day on Thursday, 5/22 at 5:30 pm. We will then welcome our Rising Freshmen Athletes at 6:30 pm to meet their future coaches and learn about upcoming workouts and team events.

It’s time to register for this year’s GHHS annual Youth Camps. These camps are open to any rising 2nd-8th grader. Have your child experience high energy, GHHS player lead developmental drills that give the participants the skills and knowledge to play for the next level. Registration is open. Register by June 3 to guarantee a t-shirt!

• Attention Seniors: Please complete this Scholarship Reporting Form to report your scholarships and monetary awards you have been offered, even if you do not plan to accept the offer. A copy of each scholarship award letter needs to be uploaded to the form as well. This year, we will include the scholarships each senior receives in an online publication (scholarship amounts will not be published). The deadline to complete this is Tuesday, May 21st.
  

FAB is giving 3 scholarships for graduating seniors. It is for students who are supported by FAB (Dance, Theater, Orchestra and Visual Arts). The guidelines and the requirements are in the form. Application is due by May 15th!

Any graduating senior who attended Cary ES is welcome to participate on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at 2:30 PM. They should arrive dressed in their cap and gown.
