This Week at Windsor...

December 2024
Windsor Families,
The weather is certainly getting colder, please be sure to send your children to school with the proper winter gear, we will go out to recess as long as the temperature is above zero. We are not able to keep children inside for recess if they are not properly dressed.
A note from Mr. Gember:
Please be sure the children wear gym shoes to school on days they have gym class or have a pair to change into. Boots and other types of shoes are not safe for class.
The Berry family would like to invite anyone interested in donating or volunteering for the 2nd annual blood drive that they host to celebrate future Wildcat Bryson's heartiversary!

But we’re not stopping here! Every membership helps fund even more grants for teachers and innovative projects that benefit all students in our district. If you haven’t joined yet, it’s not too late! Let’s show our continued support for ABC/25 and keep the momentum going.

Lions club donation box
Hello Windsor Families!
We are collecting used eyeglasses, hearing aids, cell phones and key fabs for the Lions Club. The Lions club gives our district so much support to our school by providing eye exams and glasses to families who need them in our district. Let's return the support by recycling the things we don't use anymore and donate them to the Lions club. The collection box is in the Windsor Front door vestibule and will remain there until the Winter Holiday break.
Thank you!

Family Survey
We love to celebrate all of the wonderful cultures and languages at Windsor. Please provide us with information about your family's culture so that we can celebrate YOU! This information will be shared in your child's classroom and we will also mark on the world map in our Commons where all of our Windsor families are from.
Feel free to complete this optional survey:
Notes from the Nurse
Elementary school is a time of spills and accidents. Please help the health office by packing a spare change of clothes in your students backpack in a gallon size ziplock bag. This should include:
Pants
Socks
Underwear
Shirt
This also helps your student since they feel most comfortable in their own clothes. As the school year progresses please make sure their clothes still fit and are weather appropriate. If you have any concerns or questions please reach out!
Thank you,
Darlene Carpenter
