Grades 4-5 Test Results from Last Year's MCA and ACCESS
Families of students who took either the ACCESS and/or MCA assessments in spring of 2024 should have received an email notification on Tuesday, November 26 informing them that the Individual Student Reports (ISR) are available in the Campus Parent Portal.
The email included a link to a guide to help families find where the ISRs are located within Campus Parent Portal.
NEW THIS YEAR: Individual Student Reports (ISR) for both MCA and ACCESS will be available to families on the Infinite Campus Parent Portal for viewing and downloading. Saint Paul Public Schools Research, Evaluation, & Assessment Department will no longer be emailing or mailing ISRs to families. This timeline meets MDE requirements of having ISRs delivered to families by December 1st.
Once families login to their Campus Parent Portal, they will open the menu on the left side and select ‘More’. From there they will scroll down and select ‘Student Reports’. A new tab will appear; on this page they will select their student and then which assessment report they would like to view. Once student and assessment are selected, they must click/tap on ‘Generate Report’. This will prompt them to download the report via their web browsers.
Things to note:
A student’s name may appear multiple times in the ‘Select Student’ dropdown. This occurs if they have multiple enrollments (e.g. ALCs, EDL, etc.). Parents/guardians should select their child’s name that is followed by their current school. (e.g. Jane Doe - Open World Learning Community)
Assessments listed in the ‘Select a report’ dropdown coordinate with assessments taken at the school the student attends, not necessarily the assessments that specific student took. (e.g. for a non-EL 4th grade student who took the MCA last spring but not the ACCESS: both ACCESS 2024 Test Results and MCA Spring 2024 will appear for that student because both assessments were administered at their school.) If the family selects an assessment that the student did not take, a page stating “Your child did not take this assessment.” appears.
Project REACH Coat & Blanket Drive
Colder temperatures and winter weather will soon be here. SPPS and Project REACH are accepting NEW coats and blankets this year to help keep children experiencing homelessness warm all winter. Donations are accepted through Jan. 21, 2025, and can be brought to the Project REACH office at 1021 Marion Street, St. Paul.
