IDEA Kyle: All in a KNIGHTS Day!
Operational Updates (1/3 Editions)
IDEA Kyle thanks YOU!
As we continue to receive information we will update families promptly. We kindly ask that our Knight Family remains respectful of our staff and teachers when contacting the school and asking questions. If an answer to your question is not immediately known, our receptionist, Ms. Lesly will work to answer your questions or direct you to someone on campus that has more details.
Our Kyle Knights can expect to receive three editions of All in a KNIGHTS Day in which you will find the most current operational updates leading up to the VIRTUAL First Day of School on August, 11, 2020.

COVID UPDATES
We realize that many of our parents preferred an in-person learning environment. Please understand that it remains our desire to offer in-person instruction as soon as we are cleared to do so by applicable government agencies. We are continuing our preparations for in-person instruction and will absolutely be prepared when that clearance is granted.
Given this shift for the First Day of School, we are adjusting our immediate preparations and placing an emphasis on ensuring that parents have the resources they need to be successful in a distance learning environment. We will be sharing additional information regarding what distance learning will look like for our Knights in the very near future.
Understandably, this is a significant shift in plans for the First Day of School. We remain committed to providing you as much information as possible, as early as possible, to allow you to make the best decisions for your families. We also remain committed to answering any questions you might have. Please feel free to reach out to our Assistant Principal of Operations, Jolynne Muniz, with any questions you might have. You can best reach Jolynne via email at jolynne.muniz@ideapublicschools.org.

Will Distance Learning be the same as March of 2020? While we will be using TEAMS, we are including interactive lessons throughout the day. For families that must login during evening hours, we will provide guided schedules.
Are there any child care locations in the area that I could partner with? Yes, the YMCA currently is accepting scholars for day programs. We are currently working with several child cares to offer IDEA pricing.
