Tiger News
We blinked and it is suddenly the end of the month! August flew by, but we are ready for September!
Every day, students complete an ELA and math review that refreshes concepts taught in 5th grade and their understanding of new 6th grade material. If your student misses a day, please make sure they get caught up.
As the school year is coming into full swing, grades are starting to get entered into Skyward. Please make sure your student checks their grades weekly to prevent them from falling behind.
If your student is interested in STUCO there is information located in Google Classroom Homeroom. There is a paper that the student must fill out along with creating a video as to why they believe they would be a good fit for STUCO.
Next week, students will begin their Social Studies project on Neolithic and Paleolithic villages. This project will be an important part of their learning experience, and each student will be working in groups.
Please note that students are welcome to bring additional materials from home to support their group’s success. For further details, please refer to the email from Dr. Dennis.
Thank you for your support!
