Reading:We will have several read alouds this week that focus on building friendships to get our year started off on the right foot. We will also be reading about how to be safe, respectful, and responsible at school. Feel free to discuss these topics with your student at home.
Writing:
This week we will do our beginning of the year writing assessment that will allow us to see your student's strengths and areas of opportunities. These results will help us plan effective instruction for your kiddo.
Math:
This week we will learn about Math Workshop and practice procedures for moving through stations safely, respectfully, and responsibly.
PBL:
This week we will be engaging in team builders to help build our classroom community. We will also participate in activities that will help students have a growth mindset in all situations.
