Greetings BES families!

Parent/teacher conferences will be held Tues., Thurs. and Fri. Feb. 11, 13, and 14th. These are 12:55 dismissal days. You should have received a sign up from your child's teacher on 1/31/25.

This year, we have signed up to participate in the Scripps National Spelling Bee. Students in Grades 1-5 have the option to participate. This will take place over the next few months, beginning Feb 3rd with class/grade/school champions being crowned. This will be a traditional bee, whereby students advance from classroom or grade-level spelling bees to the school spelling bee. Participation is optional, and those wishing to participate will be provided with a study list by grade level and then a master school list. Sign ups begin this week; please discuss participating with your child. More to follow.
