Warhawk Family Newsletter
March 9th

From the Principal's Desk
Dear Warhawk Families,
As we move through a busy and exciting spring season, I’d like to share a few important updates and celebrations with you.
Please note that there will be no school for students on Friday, April 18th and Monday, April 21st. We hope all of our students enjoy the long weekend and return refreshed and ready to finish the year strong. Additionally, Saturday School will not be held on April 19th, but will resume the following weekend as we continue to support students in preparation for upcoming assessments.
A reminder to all students who purchased Prom tickets: attendance and participation in all required AICE exams is mandatory. Students who do not sit for their exam will not be permitted to attend Prom. Please help us ensure students meet this important requirement and honor their academic responsibilities.
Last week, we proudly celebrated National Assistant Principals Week and took time to recognize the dedication and leadership of our incredible Assistant Principals—Mr. Justin Bending, Mrs. Courtney Gicka, and Mrs. Lisa Sinatra. Each of them plays a vital role in supporting our students, staff, and school community. We are so grateful for their commitment, compassion, and unwavering belief in our Warhawks.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership.

All-County High School Jazz Band
Please join us in celebrating Kaleb Adams, Maddox Struckhoff, and Veronica White for their incredible achievement! These talented Warhawks were selected to perform with the prestigious All-County High School Jazz Band and are currently hard at work in rehearsals. Out of all high school students in Pinellas County Schools, only 20 were chosen—and we’re proud to say that three of them represent Seminole High! Way to go, Warhawks!
Celebrating Our Senior Flag Football Players
Join us in recognizing the incredible seniors of the Seminole High School Flag Football Team—Riley Rice, McKenzie Thomaidis, Molly Follett, and McKenzie Mann! These outstanding student-athletes exemplify strength, determination, and leadership both on and off the field. Congratulations, ladies, and thank you for representing the Warhawk spirit with pride!

Say Something
Pinellas County Schools has partnered with Sandy Hook Promise to offer the Say Something Anonymous Reporting System. Say Something allows you to submit secure & anonymous safety concerns to help identify and intervene upon at-risk individuals BEFORE they hurt themselves or others. Tips made to the Say Something Anonymous Reporting System are passed along to the appropriate law enforcement agencies and school officials.
Fortify FL
Additionally, the district utilizes FortifyFL, a school-related suspicious activity reporting tool that allows Florida students and the community the ability to instantly relay information anonymously concerning unsafe, potentially harmful, dangerous, violent or criminal activities, or the threat of these activities, to the appropriate law enforcement agencies and school officials. FortifyFL was created and funded by the 2018 Florida Legislature as part of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School Public Safety Act.
