SCIENCE FAIR

One of the most wonderful days in HLA!!! We are very proud of our students and we would like to thank our Science teacher Iclal Yuksel. Also, thanks to every parent who supported our students and their kids during our 3rd Annual Science Fair. We also would like to congratulate our winners Yusuf Genc, Enejan Atakova- Ejegul Atabyeva, Zehra Huseyinli - Sebnem Cizmeci, Ferhat Sakar - Mehmet Guni, Ahmet Celebi. We hope to see our Science Fair grow and get even better every year.

PSAT

We have received the PSAT scores and we are very pleased to announce that 90% of our students have scored above the benchmark and are on track for college. We are proud to say that 30% of the students also scored above the 93% percentile of all participants who took the PSAT. These results show us once again that hard work and rigorousness pay off.

COPERNICUS SCIENCE OLYMPIAD

We are honored to announce the success of our student who won a GOLD MEDAL in the Copernicus Science Olympiad. We congratulate Azra Keskin(6A). Also, we congratulate the Science teacher, Ms. Iclal Yuksel for her hard work.

SPELLING BEE

Our little lovely bees were on the stage. All of them did their best but just one won. Zehra Huseyinli won the competition. We wish her good luck with District Spelling Bee. We Would like to thank our ELA teacher, Ms. Aysenur Ozcan, for training them. Also, thanks to the jury Ms. Sharon Satterfield and Mr. Kevin Shehu.

7A won the school soccer tournament and we congratulate them for their preparation, hard work, and commendation. To more many sportive success to come.

WINTER BREAK TIME!

Finals are over and it is time to have some fun! On the last day of the semester, our students had fun with their homeroom teachers. We watched holiday movies and had a pizza party and potluck. The semester could not end any better.

Horizon Leadership Academy Family completed 1st term of the 2022-2023 academic year. Thank you very much to our Principal Mustafa Kirsan, for his valuable support. Thanks to our Vice Principal Enxhi Hasmeta and Event Coordinator Rahsan Ozturk for always being there for us.Thank you to all our teachers for all their excellent work and effort. Special thanks to the security and cleaning staff. Thank you to our parents for their unwavering support.
