Principal's Note
As we bid farewell to April and welcome the month of May, I am filled with a sense of pride and gratitude for our incredible school community. The past month has been filled with achievements, growth, and memorable moments, and I am excited to share some highlights with you all.
First and foremost, I want to extend my heartfelt congratulations to our students for their hard work and dedication throughout the school year. Whether it's mastering new concepts in the classroom, showcasing their talents, or demonstrating kindness and empathy towards their peers, our students continue to impress us each and every day.
I would also like to express my sincere appreciation to our teachers and staff for their unwavering commitment to providing our students with a nurturing and supportive learning environment. Your passion for education and dedication to our students' success are truly commendable, and I am grateful for all that you do.
As we look ahead to the final stretch of the school year, I want to remind you of the importance of staying focused and motivated. While the end of the school year may be in sight, there is still much to be accomplished, and I encourage all students to finish strong and continue putting forth their best effort in everything they do.
As the weather continues to warm up and summer approaches, I encourage you to take advantage of the many opportunities for outdoor exploration and family fun. Whether it's a trip to the park, a nature hike, or a picnic in the sunshine, make the most of this time together and create lasting memories with your loved ones.
Thank you once again for your continued support and partnership. Together, we will finish the school year strong and create a bright future for our students.

Student Leadership Team
The Student Leadership Team will have one more meeting before the end of the school year to wrap things up and discuss the application process for next year. Students who are wanting to be a part of The Student Leadership Team will reapply each school year.
The Student Leadership Team has made an impact on Grandview Elementary. The team met with our superintendent, Mrs. Davis in March sharing their thoughts and ideas to improve our school. One of their suggestions was to have microwaves in our cafeteria. We now have two microwaves on carts for student use!

Assessments/Learning
K-5 students have completed all testing for the school year. The teachers are using all the data to drive their instruction to utilize the final weeks to address the remainder curriculum and/or fill in the gaps identified. The school year may be winding down, but there is still much to learn.
