How Do We Feed The World?
HUHS students in Mr. Terry Wick's and Mr. Kevin Martin's Bio/Health Bundle Course brought their ideas to the World Food Prize Wisconsin Institute in Madison this week. Thirty two students wrote and presented their papers with a chance to move forward to the World Prize in Iowa, which is like the Nobel Prize for solving food insecurity across the globe.
English Department Teacher and Instructional Lead Bill Schliewe chaperoned and told students, "I hope you were able to take away the importance of the totality of the day and the messages sent by your peers, University staff, and community people working in these fields. Thanks again to all of you for taking advantage of this wonderful opportunity."

Where Did Mr. Whitlow Go?
EDUCATOR OF THE YEAR - MS. CHRISTINE DUBNICKA
HONORED AT HARTFORD ROTARY LUNCHEON TODAY
HUHS Math teacher Ms. Chris Dubnicka was honored today by the Hartford Rotary Club. Rotarian and retired HUHS instructor Ron Schlitt presented the plaque. Athletic and Activites Director Scott Helms and Principal Kelly Lam were also there for the celebration. Way to go, Ms. Dubnicka!
Our Student Council and Leadership Team is sponsoring a Staff Appreciation Week, May 6-10. We are providing some fun, food, and laughter to thank them for all they do for our students. You know the teachers who spend extra time just to see students have an ah-ha moment... to the coaches who teach how to be strong and resilient...to the staff who keep HUHS running.
If you're thinking, "I do appreciate them!" - please consider donating to this week's activities by sending a gift card or financial donation by May 3rd to the high school office. We will be doing daily gift card raffles to give the a BIG thank you!
