Quick Peek at the Next Week (or 2)

Tomorrow, Grade 1-9 students will be going out into the community to serve our community in a great - a community clean up! They will engage in this during the last two blocks of the day - From 2:00 p.m. - 3:10 p.m.

Because students are going to go off grounds, they require a signed permission form - Which, as all forms are now required - is an online form.

How do you fill out the form?

1. Access Forms through online payment in PowerSchool,

• This must be done through a web browser, not an app
• Look for the link to Online Payments and Forms, or
• or through the the portal on our website at https://www.brsd.ab.ca/families/online-payments-ordering

1. Once in Online Payments select your child and scroll to the bottom of page - you will see a box with the applicable form to be signed
2. Open the form and complete - remember to SIGN your name to the form
3. Once completed ADD TO CART - there is still one step after this
4. Go to Cart and SUBMIT the form - it should now be complete

You can CHECK to ensure your form is complete by going back to the main screen where you select your child and look under COMPLETED FORMS. If it has been completed correctly it will be listed there.

All BRSD flags will be flown at half - mast to honor the National Day of Mourning for workers who have dies in the workplace. The National Day of Mourning is Sunday, April 28.

BESTA will be holding a fundraiser BBQ right before the spring concert on May 10th starting at 4:45pm and going until 6pm in front of the school. All proceeds from this fundraiser will go directly to the cost of the pea gravel at the new playground. Please come out and support this good cause!

Please help contribute to this event by bringing a potluck item. Sign up for this is found at: https://www.PerfectPotluck.com/FFYA7906 and please remember to arrive promptly with your item on the day. We want to get everyone fed before the concert begins!

This is a cash only event and please bring extra for chances to play Flinko (our version of Plinko). This will include chances to win small prizes and one big prize!

Please also bring your own chair to be able to sit and enjoy the meal.
