Here we are approaching the end of another amazing school year. Each year I am surprised at how quickly the year comes to an end, you would think after all these years I would finally see it coming. First and most importantly, thank you for sharing your amazing children with us. Their joy of learning and excitement to come to school each day truly lights up our campus. The amount of academic, social, and physical growth our students have made is incredible. I find great joy in looking at all the end of the school year assessment data and seeing how well our students have progressed. We have an amazing group of educators on this campus and the work they do is pure magic. We are truly blessed with the greatest team ever assembled.

This year has been full of recognitions, certifications, and honors; A Rated School Arizona Department of Education, International Technology Engineering Educators Association (ITEEA) STEM School of Excellence (4X), ITEEA STEM Teacher of the Year (Mrs. Watson) Cognia STEM Accredited School (1 of less than 200 worldwide), Best of Oro Valley (6X), 32 projects recognized as exemplary at SARSEF, Air Force Academy STEM Teacher of the Year Runner Up (Mr. Cordell), and the highest honor a school can receive-Arizona Educational Foundation A+ recognition.

There is not a day that goes by that I do not wake up and am thankful for all the blessings in my life. Other than my family, IA has been the greatest blessing in my life, and it is truly my honor to serve as principal of a school with such an amazing community. Thank you to all our staff, students, parents, community members, and the superb IA-PTO who put together a variety of amazing events and provided great financial support to all our programs, students, and staff.

We ask that all guests take photos somewhat quickly and exit the gym via the Alphabest doors so that the next group can park and get seated.

There are a lot of fun events happening in May! Be sure to check your Parent Square and email so you don't miss out on your child's grade specific events.

May 16th is school-wide Field Day. Students will need to bring a change of clothes and a towel. Be prepared to get WET!!! 😎

Be sure to check the Lost and Found and have your student check their classrooms for items they may have left behind. We will be "cleaning house" after school ends and items will not be held on to over the summer.
