Our Learning Community...
A big "Thank You" to our PTA for hosting such a fun Art Night last week. Mrs. Schwartz and Mr. Patrick do a phenomenal job of teaching art to our students throughout the school year and we love sharing the experience with families too!
At the PTA Association meeting that night, we elected new board members for the 2024-2025 school year. Our PTA does so much for our school community and we are grateful to have volunteers willing to step up into leadership roles to continue that legacy.

Data Analysis
As teachers start collecting Spring data, we wanted to share some attendance and literacy data from the Fall and Winter. Collecting, analyzing, and monitoring data across the school year helps us understand the growth our learners are making and plan next steps for instruction. You were able to hear specifics about your child during Parent/Guardian/Teacher Conferences prior to Spring Break. This data gives a larger school wide view point and compares it to our Cluster and Network Area schools within San Diego Unified.

Military Appreciation Ceremony
April is the month of the Military Child and we are so grateful for all of the military connected students that enrich our learning community. We cordially invite our active duty members, veterans, and entire Dolphin community to join us for our Military Appreciation Ceremony where we will share our gratitude for service members and their families.
Cali-Q Western BBQ
Join your child for lunch on April 25th!
Food services will be providing a special BBQ lunch (lunch is free for all students or they can bring their own lunch from home). Families and visitors can purchase lunch for $5 and $1 for drinks (cash only). We will have a special lunch schedule so check out the flyer for the specific times. Unfortunately students will not be able to be pulled from class to have lunch with a sibling, hopefully if you have children in multiple grades you will be able to stay for their respective lunch times. We will have extra space for families to sit together at the tables under the lunch arbor or you are welcome to bring a blanket to picnic on the adjacent lawn. We hope you can make it!
