Principal Updates
Hi Krahn Family,
We love partnering with our parents to provide your child the best education. We have some opportunities coming up where you could be involved in the school: bus buddies, becoming a mentor, and becoming a registered volunteer.
I am excited and ready to see all of our Cardinals very soon! As our teachers have been getting the building ready, it is not a school until we have our Cardinals join us to create our family.
I am excited to welcome our Krahn Cardinals for the 2024-2025 school year. As most of you are aware, I am expecting a baby girl this August. Ms. Laura Hall (see picture below) will serve as the interim principal when I go out on maternity leave. Ms. Hall joins us as an experienced Assistant Principal in Klein ISD serving at: Greenwood Forest, Frank, and Schultz. She was also a former Krahn Teacher of the Year.

There is no parking at the front roundabout due to it being a fire lane.
One of our main goals is to get your students back to you at the end of the day safely.
We are a very large campus and work to get all students home very quickly. The end of the day can get hectic, so we ask for your help, cooperation, and understanding. All changes in transportation must be submitted to the front office by 2:45.
Car Riders
A car rider number (Request for car tag: Car Rider Tag Request ) is required to pickup your child in the carpool lane. A child will not be released to a car without a car tag. If you do not have a car tag, you will be required to park and go to the front office to get your child.
Everyone will be assigned a new car rider number this year.
A hanger works great to display your number on the rearview mirror.
All car riders will be picked up in the cafeteria parking lot. Two lines will form and load at once.
Please make sure to follow all Krahn employees instructions for efficiency and safety purposes.
Bus Riders
Students will be escorted from their classroom to the buses with teacher supervision.
Students will be transported to their designated drop off location assigned by Klein Transportation.
All students are expected to follow the student code of conduct on the school bus.

Day Care
Students will be escorted from their classroom to the daycare bus/van with teacher supervision.

You may show the walker tag number with the paper or if you take a picture you can show the staff member the picture on your phone.
