ASB November Calendar

This month our VRMS Cross Country Students will attend the Diamond Valley XC Event! We are excited to hear about all their wins as they were amazing last month! Good luck runners!

Thank you to all of our military families who signed up to join us for a special lunch on Friday, November 8th in recognition of their service!

Each year this luncheon is so meaningful to all of us, and we are all looking forward to honoring you for all you do for your country!

Don't forget...in honor of Veterans Day, the school will be closed on Monday, November 11th, in remembrance of all our wonderful Veterans and everything they have given and do for our country!

Our PE teachers, Mr. White, Mr. Campos and Mrs. Garrett will once again be leading the VRMS Turkey Trot! ON Wednesday, November 20th, come out to the field and "run" for your chance at a free turkey!

TODAY is a great day to make a difference in a child's Christmas! Mrs. Evans, one of our amazing math teachers, organizes the yearly drive for Operation Christmas Child! All we are asking are for students to come with "gifts" for a child in need. It can be small toys, stuffed animals, puzzles, school supplies, toiletries, socks, hats, and gloves, the possibility is endless. Please, no food or candy. Or, you can get a box, or decorate a box, and fill it with your own gifts. All gifts and boxes can be dropped off to the office or Mrs. Evan's classroom, room 309. The gifts will be put into Christmas Boxes for children of all ages! We will be collecting items from Oct. 7th-Nov. 13th. Thank you for making a difference in a child's Christmas:)

PLEASE HELP US HELP OTHERS! It is time to refill the food banks as the holiday season begins! CJSF will be sponsoring this year's food drive, Nov. 5th-15th! You can drop off food at the front of the school, or the back gate at Butterfield Stage. Help fight hunger in your neighborhood! All food is donated to the local Rotary Club.

Our library is open for students to check out devices daily from 7:30-3:30. A parent does need to sign the liability form and fill out the optional insurance form.

Starting next week, the library will be open before school at 7:30 and after school until 3:30 to check out books or hang out:). They will also be open during both lunch periods after the students have eaten. There are passes available in front of the MPR for students wanting to hang out!

Don't forget to purchase any of our VRMS clothing items...show your school spirit! Due to high orders, some items are back-ordered. When they come in they will be delivered to your child during ADVISEMENT class. THANK YOU!
