PreACT Testing - November 6, 2024
On November 6th, 2024, 9th-11th grade students
will complete the PreACT.
The PreACT is an electronic assessment that helps students track their progress in academic skills, interests, plans, and goals as they build toward the PreACT Secure (9th and 10th grade) and the ACT (11th grade) in the Spring. PreACT data will be used by BMHS students and staff to identify both areas of strength and opportunities for growth in their learning plans.
- Students will take PreACT assessments in the areas of English, Math, Reading, and Science.
- Absent students will make up their PreACT upon returning to school at a scheduled time.
- Students who receive accommodations will complete their PreACT in their appropriate setting and with extended time if documented in their accommodations.
- Students in the 12th grade will stay home on November 6th while staff test 9th-11th grader students.
All students should arrive at school by 7:30 AM to have breakfast and get checked in. Students will begin testing shortly after 8:00 AM and most students will be finished with testing by 11:30 AM-12:30 PM depending on their actual start time and if they have accommodations. STUDENTS SHOULD COME WITH THEIR CHROMEBOOKS CHARGED!
Lunch will be served for those wishing to have lunch before leaving for the day.
